This book makes a historical and documentary review of the origins of leprosy, the emergence of lazarettes in the world, but more specifically in Venezuela. Unpublished information is revealed, as well as a new interpretation of the origin of these emissions, their use and suspension. Finally, it contains a catalog with prices according to the state of conservation, both for coins and banknotes.
