Below, the denomination in words "CIEN BOLÍVARES" «one hundred Bolívares» and the payment clause "que se pagarán al portador en Carácas á la presentacion" «payable to bearer in Caracas upon presentation». Above, the issuer name "BANCO DE VENEZUELA" - "SOCIEDAD ANÓNIMA". On the left, allegorical of the goddess Athena (Minerva in Rome) with the denomination value "100" within a guilloche with. On the right, portrait of Simon Bolivar inside an oval from unknown author. Above, the date filling space "___ de 18__" and the legend of the capitalization amount "B/8.000.000". On the right corners the denomination value "100". On the left corners the denomination both value and words "100 / CIEN". In the bottom border, the denomination both value and words "100 / CIEN". On the bottom, the signatures zone with the denomination in words "CIEN BOLÍVARES" «one hundred Bolívares» as background repeated several times.

In the center, inside a circle Coat of Arms with the motto "INDEPENDENCIA", "LIBERTAD", "5 DE JULIO 1811", "28 DE MARZO 1864" and "DIOS Y FEDERACION", on each side the denomination value "100". Above and below of the Coat of Arms the issuer name "BANCO DE VENEZUELA".
