  • Obverse: Design in black over a background in pink-orange. On the left, portrait of Simon Bolivar inside an oval from unknown author. Above, the issuer name "BANCO DE VENEZUELA" - "SOCIEDAD ANÓNIMA". Below, the denomination in words "QUINIENTOS BOLÍVARES" «five hundred Bolívares». On each side, the denomination value "500" within a guilloche. On the right, allegorical of a woman with a lyre. On the bottom, the signatures zone. On the top, the legend of the capitalization amount "CAPITAL B/15.000.000". The design is the same to the denomination value "500". Below, "que se pagarán al portador en Carácas á la presentacion" «payable to bearer in Caracas upon presentation».
  • Reverse: Unknown design.
  • Production information: June 1907: 500 pieces (serie 4, interval 1001 - 1500)
  • Variations: Similar design as Design B, Type A with the change of the year space from "189_" to "19__".
