Characteristics from Design A, Type B

  • Obverse: Design in yellow. In the center, allegorical of seashore with a ship. On each side, the face value "1 BOLIVAR" within a guilloche. Below, the denomination in words "UN BOLIVAR". In the top, the issuer name "MINISTERIO DE SANIDAD Y ASISTENCIA SOCIAL", "LEPROSERIAS NACIONALES". In the bottom border, the circulation restriction legend "PARA CIRCULAR UNICAMENTE EN LAS LEPROSERIAS" (to be circulated only in Leprosarium). In each corner the face value "1 BOLIVAR".
  • Reverse: Same design as the obverse.
  • Note: The serial number and signature maybe are printed in only one face. There are piece with humid seal which detail the leprosarium where they circulated. There are piece that may have an issue date.
