Characteristics
  • Identification Code: mv0.5r-aa
  • General: Circular shape with continous oblique grained edge.
  • Obverse: Circular rim with dentacles beading. In the center, over the field, bust of Liberty facing left with 7 stars above. In the exergue, an anchor, the year, the mintmark "A" and "BARRE".
  • Reverse: Circular rim with dentacles beading. In the center, over the field, body of the Coat of Arms. Surrounding the field, the legend "REPUBLICA DE VENEZUELA" «Republic of Venezuela», the face value "1 1/2 RL." and the metallic millesimal fineness "LEI 835" "1,15 Gs.".
  • Curiosity: The face value of the coin was incorrectly expressed to 1 1/2 Reales, instead of 1/2.
  • Composition: Ley 900 (90% Silver)
  • Weight: 1.15 Grams
  • Module: 16 mm
