On the left, inside a concave frame, Coat of Arms with the motto "19 DE ABRIL 1810", "20 DE FEBRERO 1859", "INDEPENDENCIA", "FEDERACION" and "REPUBLICA DE VENEZUELA" «Republic of Venezuela». On the right, "REPUBLICA DE VENEZUELA" «Republic of Venezuela» and the face value "10 Bolívares". In the exergue: the weight "30 GRAM.", the year "1973" and the metallic millesimal fineness "LEY 900".
Common name: This coin was also known as "Doblón" due to the double face value and weigth of the 5 Bolívares coins that was circulating in those days.
