  • Obverse: Circular rim without beading. In the center, over the field, Christopher Columbus. Surrounding the field, the legend "CRISTOBAL COLON", "ENCUENTRO DE DOS MUNDOS" and "1492 - 1992".

In the center, over the field, Coat of Arms surrounded by the leyends "BANCO CENTRAL DE VENEZUELA" «Central Bank of Venezuela», the metallic millesimal fineness "LEY 925", the weight "27 GRS", the face value "1100 BOLIVARES" and the year. Surrounding the field, the legend Coat of Arms from 13 ibero-american participant countries: Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Cuba, Chile, Spain, Mexico, Nicaragua, Peru, Portugal and Uruguay.
