General: Circular shape with discontinous grim edge.
Obverse: Heptagonal rim with no beading. In the center, over the field, bust of Simon Bolivar facing left (from the viewer's perspective), with "BARRE" below (from the original engraver), surrounded by the legends "Bolívar" at left and "LIBERTADOR" at right.
Reverse: Circular rim with dentacles beading. In the center, over the field Coat of Arms with the motto "19 DE ABRIL DE 1810", "20 DE FEBRERO DE 1859", "INDEPENDENCIA", "FEDERACION" and "REPUBLICA DE VENEZUELA" «Republic of Venezuela». Surrounding the field, the legend "REPUBLICA DE VENEZUELA" «Republic of Venezuela». In the exergue the year and the face value "500" "BOLÍVARES".
Similarities of the obverse design: From Design G, Type A, the word "BARRE" was moved lightly, a small variation of the legends font and the bust of Simón Bolívar was reduced.
