Characteristics

  • General: Circular shape with continous grained edge.
  • Obverse: Circular rim with dentacles beading. In the center, over the field, sample of venezuelan fauna Giant Armadillo (Priodontes maximus) with the legends: the weight "35 gram.", the metallic millesimal fineness "LEY 925" and the face value "50 BOLIVARES".
  • Reverse: Circular rim with dentacles beading. In the center, over the field, Coat of Arms with a horse stand up toward the right looking at left (from the viewer's perspective) with the motto "19 DE ABRIL DE 1810", "INDEPENDENCIA", "20 DE FEBRERO DE 1859", "FEDERACION" and "REPUBLICA DE VENEZUELA" «Republic of Venezuela». In the exergue the year.
