In the center,, the value "5000" with the denomination in words "CINCO MIL BOLÍVARES" «five thousand Bolívares» above and the payment clause "PAGADEROS AL PORTADOR EN LAS OFICINAS DEL BANCO" «Payments to the Bearier in the Offices of the Bank» below. On the left, watermarks zone. On the top left, the issuer name "BANCO CENTRAL DE VENEZUELA" «Central Bank of Venezuela». In each corner except the bottom left corner, the value "5000". The serial numbers are located at upper right and bottom left of the banknote.
Reverse: Design in red. In the center, engraving of the painting"19 de Abril de 1810" by Juan Lovera, with the denomination in words "CINCO MIL BOLÍVARES" «five thousand Bolívares» and the value "5000" at left. On the right, watermarks zone with the Coat of Arms at upper left. On the top left, the issuer name "BANCO CENTRAL DE VENEZUELA" «Central Bank of Venezuela». On the bottom, the denomination in words "CINCO MIL BOLÍVARES" «five thousand Bolívares». In each corner except the upper left, the value "5000".
Similarities of the obverse design: The design is similar to Design A, Type A, with the removal of the optic-shifting color ink used in the first letter "C" in "Cinco Mil Bolívares", and the change of the latent image located between the portrait and the coat of arms of Bolivar to a optic-shifting color patch.
Similarities of the reverse design: The design is the same to Design A, Type A.
