Obverse: Heptagonal rim with no beading. In the center, over the field, bust of Simon Bolivar facing left (from the viewer's perspective), with "BARRE" below (from the original engraver), surrounded by the legends "Bolívar" at left and "LIBERTADOR" at right.
Reverse: Circular rim with dentacles beading. In the center, over the field Coat of Arms with the motto "19 DE ABRIL 1810", "20 DE FEBRERO 1859", "INDEPENDENCIA", "FEDERACION" and "REPUBLICA DE VENEZUELA" «Republic of Venezuela». Surrounding the field, the legend "REPUBLICA DE VENEZUELA" «Republic of Venezuela». In the exergue the year and the face value "100" "BOLÍVARES".
Similarities of the obverse design: The design is similar to Design F, Type A with the addition of the mintmark of the Venezuela Mint, the displacement to the right of the word "BARRE" and the reduced size of the bust of Bolívar.
Similarities of the reverse design: The design is similar to Design F, Type A, varying in the background of the field in the Coat of Arms.
