  • Obverse: Design in brown over a background in yellow. On the right, portrait of Simon Bolivar based in the painting "Retrato Ecuestre de El Libertador" (Equestrian portrait of The Liberator) by Tito Salas. In the center, watermarks zone. On the left, the denomination value "100". On the top, and on the bottom, the issuer name "BANCO CENTRAL DE VENEZUELA" «Central Bank of Venezuela» splitted in two parts. On the right corners the denomination value "100". The serial numbers is in blue.
  • Reverse: Design in brown over a background in yellow. On the left, National Capitol. On the right, Coat of Arms. In the center, watermarks zone. On the top, the denomination in words "CIEN BOLÍVARES" «one hundred Bolívares». On the bottom, the issuer name "BANCO CENTRAL DE VENEZUELA" «Central Bank of Venezuela». In each corner the denomination value "100".
  • Design variations in the obverse: The design is similar to Design D, Type A, varying with the serial number color change from red to blue.
  • Design variations in the reverse: The design is similar to Design D, Type A, changing to dual tone of the corners.
  • Design variations: In the watermarks from the Design D, Type A, were added the letters "B C" around the face of Simón Bolívar.
  • Signatures: "Presidente" «President» and "Primer Vice presidente" «First Vicepresident»
